Spring Training Recap: Mets 5, Tigers 4

The Mets rallied for the Detroit Tigers defeat Tradition Field at 04:05 today and improved his record at 10:09 Grapefruit League .

Wilmer Flores, who started his third game at shortstop, it was April 1 with an RBI and a fabulous game in the ninth.

Juan Lagares went 2- for-4, has a career and a stolen base. This spring has certainly done that in 8 of 11 games, batting .306/.359/.361. It seems that he makes his case for Ausgangscentersein .

It was nice to see Andrew Brown for the big hit in the bottom of the ninth for the Mets today. He has shown a propensity to come across a big place. He’s hitting .290 and making a strong case to come if the North peak team camp in less than two weeks. Some readers brought the good point that while Matt den Dekker also brings a solid glove, his defense is not required, while Brown is power.

Daisuke Matsuzaka will likely be the fifth starter the team, but let’s not pretend that a great spring – . , He’s not the problem is that no one else has not improved. Dice- K saw his ERA rise to 4.97 for spring.

In the battle for the leadoff spot , Eric Young Jr. was 0 – 4 and Juan Lagares was 2-for -4 with a run scored . Lagares is hitting 0.306 compared to 0.241 in Young … As the saying goes , you can not steal first base …
